Senior Sales Manager

Are you a talented Sales Manager, Territory Marager or Senior Sales Exec or are you aiming to be one?

Can you demonstrate that you have experience of building relationships with prospective customers and have experience selling into NHS /hhealthcare organisations?

The Role:

In the Sales Manager role you'll report to the Regional Director and will be primarily responsible for increased sales of the company's product range within your region (northern England) within NHS and Private Hospital settings by actively promoting and demonstrating the products to internal stakeholders and developing strong relationships with the key clinical, engineering, and financial staff (capital budget holders) in both potential as well as existing customer organisations which you will inherit.

Specifically you'll be tasked with driving increased sales and client engagement and updating weekly sales forecasts.

This is a field-based role covering the Northern England region, so if field-based work doesn't suit you please do not apply.

The Candidate:

To be the right person for Senior Sales / Territory Manager role you will need direct experience of building relationships with all customers.

We also need you to have prior experience of working with the sales and marketing team in developing national promotional plans.

It's also essential that you've got experience of gathering and providing feedback for improvement in the company's activities including product design improvements.

It's important that you also have the following:

  • A background of selling products into NHS organisations
  • A strong network of preexisting relationships within healthcare settings
  • Strong negotiation and assertiveness skills, in particular the ability to close sales

You'll also need to be the following:

  • Happy working on the road, managing your diary utilising relationships to open doors
  • Self-motivated and well organised with the ability to work closely with other Team Members
  • Able to demonstrate excellent commercial and customer service orientation and the ability to see opportunities for sales growth

The Package:

The basic salary for the Regional Sales Manager role is between £38,000 - £42,000 per annum (DOE).

In addition you can earn a personal performance bonus in the role if you hit your targets. Full details about the scheme will be revealed on application.
