We're looking for a talented Pricing Analyst to work for our client.

They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of an insurer environment (preferably motor/home).

The Role:

In the Pricing Analyst role you'll be primarily responsible for providing support in forecasting growth and loss ratio.

You'll report to the Head of Pricing and you'll spend part of the working week in the company's London office. For the rest of the week you will be working from home.

In the job you'll be tasked with the following:

- Working closely with other members of pricing to carry out regular reviews and monitor their impact

- Analysing large data sets, recommending initiatives and building models to execute these initiatives

- Producing periodic reporting to Senior Managers

- Providing analytical support in ongoing relationships with reinsurers, regulators and other partners

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this Pricing Analyst role will have relevant experience of an insurer environment (preferably motor/home).

You'll also need experience of:

- Risk models such as glms via software preferably wtw emblem

- Rating update processes, performance and impact monitoring

- Retail price optimisation

In addition, you'll need the following:

- A minimum of 1 year pricing experience in an insurance environment

- A 2:1 degree in numerical discipline e.g. Maths, physics, econometrics

- Strong data manipulation skills using sql/python/r/wps or similar
