We're looking for a talented Commercial Account Handler to work for our client.

They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of commercial lines insurance products.

The Role:

Reporting to the Commercial Director and based in the company's Northampton office, as the Commercial Account Handler you will be primarily responsible for providing quotations on all types of commercial insurance via the telephone, face to face or in writing, placing cover when instructed, inviting and confirming renewals and dealing with mid-term adjustments.

In the job you'll be tasked with the following:

- Achieving renewal income and retention targets

- Driving new business through structred sales and marketing campaigns

- Maintaining and growing an established, succesful book of commercial business

- Undertaking market reviews and presneting these to the client

- Delivering excellent customer service

- Managing new and existing relationships

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this Commercial Account Handler role will have relevant experience of commercial lines insurance products.

You'll also need experience of a broking environment and relationship management.

In addition, you'll need the following:

- Excellent written and verbal skills

- The ability to communicate effectively on all levels

- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills

The ideal person for the role will be the following:

- Diligent and have an eye for detail

- Confident, able to communicate clearly and effectively with operational colleagues

- Driven, looking for consistently better and more productive ways of working
