The Role:

In this Data Engineer role you'll report to the Head of Data Engineering and will be responsible for in addition to front and back end engineers, customer support, Product Managers, and infrastructure professionals, you will be part of a cross-functional agile data delivery team.

This is a home-based position. The details around how this will work will be discussed at interview.

The Candidate:

To be the right person for Data Engineer role you will need direct experience of leading in the development and improvement of data models.

We also need you to have prior experience of the development of systems and processes to improve complex data sets.

It's also essential that you've got experience of building strategy around future direction of the business in terms to deployment of assets across our rapidly growing data capabilities.

It's important that you also have the following:

• Strong Python programming skills
• Previous experience in software development or data pipeline related task
• Previous experience working with multidisciplinary colleagues and teams across the organisation

You'll also need to be the following:

• Being a self-starter is an overused phrase but definitely demonstrate a 'can do' and resourceful attitude
• Ambitious, the company is growing rapidly and needs their people to grow with them
• A strong team player, able to manage numerous projects and stakeholders simultaneously

The Package:

The basic salary for the Data Engineer role is up to £70,000 per annum.

In addition you can earn a personal performance bonus in the role if you hit your targets. Full details about the scheme will be revealed on application.
