Customer Service Executive

Location: Central Guildford, Surrey

We're looking for a talented Customer Service Executive to work for our client.

They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of dealing with customers via telephone or email.

If that's you then you could be exactly what they're looking for.


The Role:

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager and based in the company's Guildford office, as the Customer Service Executive you will be primarily responsible for the ongoing administration and servicing of existing customers policies.

In the job you'll be tasked with the following:

- Taking incoming enquiries

- Dealing with customers requests in a polite and efficient manner

- Maintaining customers records accurately and securely

The standard working hours for this position are 9:00 - 17:30.


The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this Customer Service Executive role will have relevant experience of dealing with customers via telephone or email.

You'll also need experience of complaints handling and the financial services industry (not essential).

In addition, you'll need the following:

- A GCSE in maths and English at level C or above

- The ability to work under pressure

- The ability to gather and analyse information from customers

The ideal person for the role will be the following:

- A good negotiator

- Friendly and professional

- Someone who acts with initiative and urgency
