Location: Home/Field Based (covering Midlands engineering sites, so easy accessto travel around the Midlands region is required)

Salary: circa. £60-75,000 + benefits

We're looking for a talented Electrical Rollingstock Engineer with a strong technical background in rolling stock electrical systems and demonstrable rail sector experience. This is a key role within our clients expanding business, and you'll play a pivotal part in driving improvements in maintenance and overhaul to clients fleets, with a strong emphasis on electrical systems.

The Role:

As the Electrical Rollingstock Engineer, you'll report to the Head of Engineering and will be primarily responsible for:

  • Overseeing the maintenance, overhaul, and troubleshooting of electrical systems within railway rolling stock.
  • Developing and implementing engineering strategies focused on enhancing the reliability and performance of rolling stock electrical systems.
  • Collaborating with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Proactively resolving complex technical issues within rolling stock electrical systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and industry regulations.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this Electrical Rollingstock Engineer role will have:

  • Relevant engineering qualifications or experience with a focus on electrical systems.
  • Proven experience in the rail sector, specifically related to rolling stock electrical systems.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills in a rolling stock environment.
  • The ability to manage your own workload with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The Package:

Basic Salary: circa.£60,000 - £75,000 + benefits
