Business Development Manager

Up to £40,000 per annum - OTE £50,000 - Car - Field Based

We're looking for a talented Business Development Manager to work for our client.

They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of prospecting new clients to maximise revenue and account growth.

The Role:

The Business Development Manager role is field-based. Reporting to the Head of Business Development and covering the Midlands region, you will be primarily responsible for identifying sales leads, present our clients brand to prospective new clients and maintain good working relationships with new client contacts.

In the job you'll be tasked with the following:

- Prospecting potential new clients and turn this into increased business

- Meeting potential clients by growing, maintaining and leveraging your network

- Research, build and maintain relationships with new clients

- Working along side technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customers needs

- Identifying opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales

- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this Business Development Manager role will have relevant experience of prospecting new clients to maximise revenue and account growth.

You'll also need experience of business to business selling and relationship management.

In addition, you'll need the following:

- Excellent written and verbal skills

- Strong negotiation skills

- A positive attitude with plenty of initiative

The ideal person for the role will be the following:

- Able to work well both independently and as part of an already established team in order to deliver individual and team goals

- Diligent and have an eye for detail

- Driven, looking for consistently better and more productive ways of working

The Package:

Basic salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

Bonus: A personal bonus of up to £8,000 per annum is also available if you hit your targets
