Senior Commercial Account Handler

Up to £45,000 per annum + Benefits & 3 days WFH

We're looking for a talented Senior Commercial Account Handler to work for our client.

The Role:

In the Senior Commercial Account Handler role you'll be primarily responsible for providing a complete professional service to prospects, clients and Account Executives in respect of quotations, adjustments and renewals for all classes of commercial/corporate insurance.

You'll report to the Branch Director and you'll spend part of the working week in the company's Horsham office. For the rest of the week you will be working from home.

In the job you'll be tasked with the following:

- Advising clients on risk management and help to devise new ways to mitigate risks

- Working closely with senior brokers and Account Executive on new business cases and renewals

- Developing and maintaining networks/formal channels within and outside the company to gain information and develop own breadth of awareness and understanding

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Commercial Account Handler role will have relevant experience of providing a complete professional service to prospects, clients and Account Executives in respect of quotations, adjustments and renewals for all classes of commercial/corporate insurance.

You'll also need experience of dealing with complex corporate accounts and relationship management.

In addition, you'll need the following:

- A minimum of 5 years commercial insurance experience

- A minimum of 2 years experience in dealing with complex corporate accounts

- Cert cii or working towards dip qualification

The ideal person for the role will be the following:

- Experienced in a broking environment

- Adaptable to change

- A strong communicator
