The Role:

In the Semi Senior Accountant role you'll report to a senior Accountant who will be there tyo support your development, and will be primarily responsible for the preparation of accounts and reporting for SME clients of the Practice.

Specifically you'll be tasked with providing high standards of client service to our growing portfolio of clients.

This position is based in the company's Tamworth office, so please ensure that's within a reasonable commutable distance for you before you apply.

The Candidate:

To be the right person for Semi Senior Accountant role you will need direct experience of the preparation of accounts of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

We also need you to have prior experience of basic month end client reporting, corporation tax and VAT return preparation (ongoing training and guidance will be provided in these areas).

It's important that you have a working knowledge ofa an accounting system similar to Sage or Xero systems and strong MS Office experience, specifically around Excel use.

You'll also need to be the following:

• Keen to join a friendly and supportive team
• Wanting to learn from those around you to further your accounting skills and career
• Wanting to join a practice with low staff turnover, lovely offices who appreciate and reward their close-nit team of staff

The basic salary for the Semi Senior Accountant role is in the £25-32k range (depending on experience) plus benefits plus study support.
