We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in metal, steel or related fabrication design.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a professional to join an established and expanding team, focusing on some of the most interesting and complex fabrication projects.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide quality surveying, including all aspects of cost and contractual advice, and project management.
• Oversee and direct steel or metal fabrication projects from conception to completion.
• Review the project in-depth to ensure all costs are managed and financial objectives are met.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
• Prepare tenders, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.
• Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjusting budget projections accordingly.
• Procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project.
• Measure and value the work done on site.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Chartered Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) or equivalent.
• Proven working experience in steel or metal fabrication.
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
• Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
• Familiarity with construction quality and health and safety standards.
• Excellent time and project management skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and to lead and inspire team members.
