About Our Client

Our client is a rapidly growing manufacturing company with a strong track record of success and impressive revenue growth numbers over the last three years. They are looking for a talented and experienced Sales / BD Manager to join their growing team and drive and further their continued growth.

About the Role

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing our client's sales strategy to achieve their desired outcomes. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our client's customers, negotiating commercial agreements and contracts, and producing timely and accurate reports.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and nurture new sales leads and opportunities
  • Analyse the market to identify new markets and products
  • Develop and implement a clear sales strategy
  • Represent and promote our client to UK domestic and international customers
  • Regularly travel to visit domestic and international customers
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and new customers
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and contracts with customers
  • Produce timely and accurate reports
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate customer projects with the wider business
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets

Ideal Candidate

  • At least 3 years of b2b sales experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Strong understanding of the sales process and value-based selling
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Results-oriented and driven
