Role: Account Handler

Location: Buckinghamshire

Working Week: Hybrid working (3 days in office / 2 days WFH)

Salary Range: £35-40k benefits bonus qualification assistance (if required)

We're looking for a talented Account Handler to work for our client.

They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of commercial insurance products (Full portfolios).

The Role:

In the Account Handler role you'll be primarily responsible for ensuring commercial risks are placed in accordance with our clients broking strategy by working with the appointed representatives, Account Executives or directly with the client where necessary.

You'll report to the Sales Manager and you'll spend part of the working week in the company's Buckinghamshire office. For the rest of the week you will be working from home.

In the job you'll be tasked with the following:

- Ensuring that our clients customer receive full and complete professional advice

- Ensuring that new business and renewals are brokered professionally and in a timely fashion so that customer receive their terms in a compliant time frame

- Dealing with mid-term alterations and changes

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this Account Handler role will have relevant experience of commercial insurance products.

You'll also need experience of relationship management and renewal retention.

In addition, you'll need the following:

- Cert cii (or working towards)

- Strong organisation and communication skills, able to work productively with colleagues and alone

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The ideal person for the role will be the following:

- Self starter, overused phrase but demonstrate a 'can do' and resourceful attitude

- A strong team player

- Able to collate risk information at new business and renewal
