We're looking for a talented Business Development Executive to work for our client.
They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of the insurance industry.

The Role:
Reporting to the Sales Director and based in the company's Hove office, as the Business Development Executive you will be primarily responsible for the creation of growth and management of your own portfolio across insurance, both commercial, general and business efficiencies.
In the job you'll be tasked with the following:
- Creating and developing your own portfolio of clients, managing the relationships effectively to ensure the retention and growth of the portfolio
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities
- Managing the renewals process in order to achieve a retention rate of 90%
- Managing your own prospects, and developing them into quality sales appointments
- The overall management of your portfolio dealing with mta's, mtc's, claims and additional covers
- Cross selling and upselling of business efficiencies products and services in order to achieve monthly targets

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Business Development Executive role will have relevant experience of the insurance industry.
You'll also need experience of building successful long term relationships both internally and externally.
Plus, it's vital that you've got experience of dealing with customers either face-to-face or by telephone.
In addition, you'll need the following:
- Strong and effective communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and encourage others

The Package:
Basic salary: Up to £28,000 per annum
Bonus: A personal bonus of up to £20,000 per annum is also available if you hit your targets
