We're looking for a talented Compliance Officer to work for our client.

The Role:
Reporting to the Compliance Manager and based in the company's Preston office, as the Compliance Officer you will be primarily responsible for ensuring our client meets the highest standards of excellence in governance and compliance whilst keeping up to date with regulatory changes within the industry.
In the job you'll be tasked with the following:
- Assisting the Compliance Manager in the delivery of the compliance monitoring plan
- The administration of routine monitoring, audit review and root cause analysis
- Providing support to both internal and external stakeholders with compliance queries
- Assisting the firms Senior Managers in addressing findings from compliance monitoring activities and promote continuous improvement within the firm
- Reviewing client files to confirm suitability of advice and evidence of good customer outcomes
- Assisting with training and staff development related to activities including the administration of the on-line learning management systems

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Compliance Officer role will have relevant experience of working in a compliance role.
You'll also need experience of fca regulation & data protection legislation and the insurance distribution directive.
In addition, you'll need the following:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
The ideal person for the role will be the following:
- Able to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment
- Able to work on your own initiative
- Diligent and have an eye for detail
