Tell me more about the role...

You will be primarily responsible for obtaining quotations and administer existing cases for commercial insurances. To set up new policies, to administer existing policies and to be proactive and focused on new business and renewal retention.

Working in the company's Watford office for part of the week, and from home for the rest of it, you'll report to the Commercial Operations Manager and will be tasked with the following:

- Maintaining regular contact with existing clients, to ensure their insurance requirements continue to be met

- Assisting the team in obtaining quotations, dealing with presentations, obtaining renewal data and terms so as to maximise new client sales and renewal retention

- Keeping accurate and complete records of communications and business transactions in accordance with company procedures and assist with team admin duties when necessary

What experience do I need?

My client wants someone who's got a background in personal lines or commercial insurance products.

They'll also need you to have experience of relationship management as well as winning and retaining new business.

In addition, you'll need the following:

- A good understanding of the insurance industry

- Negotiation skills

- Strong administration skills

We need you to be a strong communicator and be able to collate risk information at new business and renewal.
