We're looking for a talented Paraplanner to work for our client.

They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of the financial services industry of which a minimum of 2 years has been in paraplanning within a firm of financial advisors.

The Role:

Reporting to the Head of Paraplanning and based in the company's Loughborough office, as a Paraplanner you will be primarily responsible for providing all employees with a focal point for technical enquiries and to produce compliant reports and supporting documentation for clients of the firm (existing or potential) to support the recommendations made by their advisors.

In the job you'll be tasked with the following:

- Production of new business reports and recommendations

- Following up on client meetings to ensure a Fact Find and all other relevant financial information is obtained in order to proceed with a full financial needs analysis

- Liaise with Business Administration for any additional information required

- Analyse client information and existing investments/insurances, identifying any gaps in the clients financial plans

- Construct appropriate solutions for clients and make recommendations in conjunction with advisors

- Liaising with investment, and accounts and dealing with teams in respect of reviews of existing investments and feasibility of in-specie transfers

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this Paraplanner role will have relevant experience of the financial services industry of which a minimum of 2 years has been in paraplanning within a firm of financial advisors.

You'll also need experience of investments, pensions and taxation as well as business processes, standards, policies and procedures.

In addition, you'll need the following:

- A willingness to undertake study

- The ability to manage your own workload

- Excellent written and verbal skills

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Excellent attention to detail

The ideal person for the role will be the following:

- Diligent and have an eye for detail

- Able to work on your own initiative

- Articulate and able to communicate on all levels

Basic salary: Up to £40,000 per annum
