We're looking for a talented Underwriting Assistant to work for our client.
They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of office administration.

The Role:
Reporting to the Underwriting Director and based in the company's London office, as the Underwriting Assistant you will be primarily responsible for providing a high level of customer care whilst carrying out administrative processes for new and renewing bonds, policies and memberships. Providing support to the underwriting director and underwriters.
In the job you'll be tasked with the following:
- Collating and processing application information for new and existing clients in a timely manner
- Ensuring completeness of each application and where appropriate verifying the information before presentation to the underwriters
- Requesting additional information where deemed necessary by the underwriters
- Preparing renewal invitations, quotations, counter indemnities, bonds and policies and all other documentation in relation to applications in a timely manner
- Maintaining files and database information relating to clients, ensuring that all data is accurate

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Underwriting Assistant role will have relevant experience of office administration.
You'll also need experience of:
- Excel and Microsoft office
- Working within a fast paced environment
- The insurance industry
In addition, you'll need the following:
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
The ideal person for the role will be the following:
- Able to work as part of a successful team
- Diligent and have an eye for detail
- A real team player, keen to take a key role in a wider dynamic and high performing team
