We're looking for a talented Sales Manager to work for our client.

For this role you neee to have a strong background previously working in a more technical sales role around mechnical design or electrical areas.

They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of identifying and qualifying new business leads and opportunities.

The Role:

Reporting to the Sales Director and based in the company's Worcestershire office, as the Sales Manager you will be primarily responsible for developing and ultimately winning quality new business and customers for the business inline with agreed objectives.

In the job you'll be tasked with the following:

  • Building key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers to promote business and identify further opportunities to cross sell other group products
  • Hitting an annual achievable sales target, maintaining a healthy sales pipeline

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this Sales Manager role will have relevant experience of identifying and qualifying new business leads and opportunities.

You'll also need experience of:

  • Providing timely customer support by responding to customer inquiries and requests
  • Driving sales and revenue growth, maximising margin on jobs
  • Managing projects from rfq stage to first delivery

In addition, you'll need the following:

  • Strong communication skills and an eye for detail
  • A strong technical engineering understanding
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload

The ideal person for the role will be the following:

  • Able to work as part of a successful team
  • An individual who knows the importance of building strong relationships with key suppliers
  • Organised and have a methodical approach to work and problem solving
