We're looking for a talented Underwriting Support Executive to work for our client.

They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of personal or commercial lines products.

The Role:

Reporting to the General Manager and based in the company's Neston office, as the Underwriting Support Executive you will be primarily responsible for handling submissions from brokers and preparing submissions ready to quoted by an underwriter. You will carry out all the necessary pre-underwriting checks by ensuring the risk information falls within our clients criteria.

In the job you'll be tasked with the following:

- Assisting and providing Administrative Support to a team of experienced underwriters

- Sourcing information from external sources and uploading the data into our clients bespoke software house

- Managing key relationships across an established broker panel

- Organising quote data ready for underwriting

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this Underwriting Support Executive role will have relevant experience of personal or commercial lines products.

You'll also need experience of excel and Microsoft office and Administrative Support.

In addition, you'll need the following:

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Excellent written and verbal skills

- Strong organisational skills

The ideal person for the role will be the following:

- Able to work on your own initiative

- Articulate and able to communicate on all levels

- Diligent and have an eye for detail
