We're looking for a Trainee Underwriter to work for our client.

This position is suitable for recent graduates or someone who has the desire to get into underwriting.

The Role:

In the Trainee Underwriter role you'll be responsible for underwriting new business and servicing existing accounts.

You'll report to the Underwriting Manager and you'll spend the working week in the company's Burgess Hill office.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this Trainee Underwriter role will be educated to a degree level and have great numeracy skills.

You'll also need experience of working in an office environment.

In addition, you'll need the following:

- The ability to work independently

- The ability to communicate effectively on all levels

- Excellent written and verbal skills

The ideal person for the role will be the following:

- A self-motivator and team player who brings a can-do approach

- An effective, willing and enthusiastic team player

- Diligent and have an eye for detail

The Package:

Basic salary: Up to £22,000 per annum
