Job Title: Sales Engineer

Location: Midlands/Anglia

Salary: £35k - £38k + Bonus + Car (OTE £47K+)

This is an amazing opportunity for a sales professional with a good technical ability to join a fast-paced expanding company with lots of opportunity for development and progression. This is a national company employing 400+ people.

Role:

• Actively promote all products and services to both new and existing customers.
• Targeting primarily the rail industry.
• Looking after £1m t/o / annum within the rail sector.
• Seeking out new areas of rail potential development in line with agreed strategy.

• Develop rail contractors and projects business for delivery of repeat business.

• Manage appointments, schedules and time by effective planning.
• Drive new business.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience within the construction sales industry.
• Rail sector is an advantage but not essential.
• Experience working with Tier 1 national contractors.
• Technical experience in solution-based sales.
• The ability to read drawings and understand the construction process
• The ability to sell the solution, not the process and build long-term relationships
• Territory planning and customer management experience
• Good presentation skills.
