Job Title - Hire Controller
Location - Erith
Hours - 8am-5pm Mon-Fri
Salary - £25,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience)
We have and exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor to work for a national company that supply equipment and services into the construction industry. The client is looking for an enthusiastic, organised and flexible all-rounder to work on a busy hire desk.
The main parts of the role include:
- To ensure that customer requirements are dealt with efficiently and effectively whether received by phone or electronically.
- Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with Branch Managers and the Regional Operations teams
- Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with the Balfour Beatty Internal and External Plant Desk Teams and Managers
- Effective and efficient resolution of complaints from customers and operational colleagues
- Use of internal escalation procedures for complex or unresolved complaints
- Effective management of off hires
- Application of agreed hire rates to customers as set up on agreement
- To ensure that the hire order going to the depot is complete, ensuring all information has been obtained from the customer and relayed to the branch in a timely manner
- Ensure all orders and queries are accurately input on to the system
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- You must be reliable, punctual and enthusiastic
- You must be well organised.
- The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated and proactive.
