Job Title – Area Manager

Location – Scotland and Borders

Salary – £38,000 + role related bonus + car (OTE - £50k)

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and professional Area Sales Manager to join our regional sales team covering our Scotland and Borders Territory. You will support further growth and expansion by actively promoting the supply of equipment used for pipe testing, pressure testing and flow control.

Our client supplies the construction industry, civil engineering, water utility, petrochemical, breweries, manufacturing, and agricultural industries. You will work closely with the internal sales, hire operations and customer support services, to ensure customer requirements are met to the highest standard.

Role

• You will be responsible for the increase in company revenue by raising customer awareness of the product range & services within the construction industry.
• Develop new business by assisting with and delivering proposals and presentations to win preferred supplier status with targeted customers.
• Retain and develop the relationships with key accounts by identifying opportunities, presenting information clearly, pitching solutions and closing sales

Required Skills:

• You will need experience in a field-based sales role with a technical element.
• A proven track record in a technical solution sales role.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build long lasting relationships.
• Experience with an engineering products or construction equipment
• Full product training will be given as well as continuous support
