An exciting opportunity has presented itself within a leading roofing and cladding contractor that design, manufacture and install a range of roofing and cladding systems across the UK. This role will be based from the company's office in the North West and will, of course, also involve client and site visits across the North West.

Main Purpose of the job: To grow with the business and provide support throughout the organisation for a SHEQ integrated business to promote growth and sustainability.

The post holder will:

  • Have a technical understanding of modern construction techniques
  • Have a sound understanding of the CDM regulations
  • Carry out on-site inspections and liaise with site teams and clients
  • Provide a support function throughout the organisation in relation to SHEQ matters
  • Conduct incident investigations and report writing
  • Be involved in the development of the SHEQ Management Systems
  • Travel to construction sites and other events
  • Maintain company memberships

The post holder will also undertake any other duties as required.

In addition to the above duties, all staff are required to:

  • Undertake appropriate training and staff development as required
  • Adhere to all company’s policies and procedures, including Equality and Diversity and Health and Safety, Environment and Employee Handbook
  • Respect confidentiality: all confidential information should be kept in confidence and not released to unauthorised persons.
  • Participate in the company’s Performance Review and Development Scheme.

Hours: Full-time (Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm)
