As a Solution Architect you will be responsible for designing and delivering MES / LES / EMI solutions!

You will participate in all project phases:

• Pre-sales (Advice client in solution roadmap setup; Validate requirements and estimating effort for given scope; Cooperate with Project Manager in creation of Project Plan and Statement of Work)
• Blueprint (Participate in requirements gathering workshop; Lead Conceptual design workshop; Prepare and validate solution concept with client; Write documents (functional specification, detailed design)
• Development (Assure proper knowledge transfer to the development and project excellence team; Provide supervision, answer questions, adjust design documents; Propose and design solution modification when client requirements change; Help project team in presenting solution during demos)
• Testing (Help project excellence team in validate solution compliance with the design; Help in scope changes identification)
• Go-Live and Post Go-Live (Provide supervision and ad-hoc help to go-live support team; Introduce solution to Application Maintenance team)
• Application Maintenance (Help App Maintenance team in designing changes to the solution

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Experience in modeling in relational databases
• Proficiency in SQL
• Good knowledge of C#, Java Script or other programming language
• Experience with HTML, XSLT and CSS would be a plus
• Experience in working with and implementing MES systems (preferably Delmia Apriso)
• Experience with using the tools required to perform the job: Visual Studio, Map Force, XML Spy, SVN, Visio
• Manufacturing business knowledge (production, logistic, quality, maintenance)
• Knowledge about best practices in above areas
• Basic ERP knowledge (SAP, Oracle)
• Knowledge about interfaces between systems
• Knowledge of business intelligence tools and capabilities, plus integration of information systems
• Excellent verbal and writing skills in English to allow fluent communication with clients
• Master degree in the field of computer science or similar

• Leading requirements and design workshops with clients
• Preparing design documentation based on client’s requirements
• Presenting and validating design with client
• Providing supervision during development and testing phases
• Validating requirements changes and propose solution modifications during development and testing phases
• Cooperating with Application Maintenance, providing guidance and help in designing changes in the solution after go-live
• Coaching younger colleagues up to the level of Solution Architect
• Sharing best practices and proposing standards for the whole services team
