Key responsibilities:

Maintain and extend a complex custom Manufacturing Execution System, a document management system, and other software systems.

Design and develop new features using Test Driven development practices.

Interface with DuPont Information Technology organization to maintain connectivity between the MES and corporate software tools such as LIMS and SAP.

Qualification profile:

US Citizenship (ITAR compliance)

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing or related industry.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong team player with an ability to work closely with all functional teams within the plant.
• Self-starter with systematic decision making, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Software engineering skills: high-level application architectures as well as the ability to design and implement efficient, maintainable, testable code.
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems, factory automation systems, device interfacing, and manufacturing i/o protocols.
• Strong relational database skills, with experience structuring, manipulating, and analyzing data.
• Programming experience with C#/.Net, Python, IronPython, and Javascript.
• Experience with Web development tools such as HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
• Experience supporting server operating systems, Web servers, and database servers.
