I am a recruiter of 20 years but found myself furloughed in April 2020. I decided to spend this time out of work doing something positive. I completed a charity challenge raising £7000 for the NHS and then set up a free initiative to support and improve the mental wellbeing of fellow furloughed and job searching professionals during their time out of work. The initiative won two gold awards at the Learning and Performance Institute and has been celebrated by the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson https://www.pointsoflight.gov.uk/furlearn/
In November 2020 I gained the confidence to launch my own recruitment company called www.talenttoday.co.uk which was created to fast track and improve the recruitment process. We specialise in helping IT Leaders deliver their projects and programmes of work. We conduct the first stage video interview and send you a personalised short list of CV’s and the video interviews. We believe that there is so much more the recruiter can do to help the process and we have even more ideas in flight.
