Marketing Manager for an IT Reseller / Managed Services Provider
North West of England, Hybrid working

Brand new opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager to join a growing IT business in the North West.
Year on year growth has seen this business double its turnover during the last decade. For their next stage of growth they require a Marketing Director to be a strong strategic partner within the senior leadership team and take ownership of the Marketing strategyfor the group and business. This is a rare opportunity to lead a Marketing function, and one of the role's growth objectives will be to develop the existing Marketing team as well as provide a strategic plan for the business to continue it's growth and profitability.
The ideal candidate will have experience in leading a Marketing function within an IT or Technology business (ideally MSP) as well as a strategic and commercial mindset.
The Marketing Manager role will oversee; Demand Generation, Inbound Marketing, Content Marketing, Customer Marketing, Social Media, Product Marketing, PR, Conferences and Vendor/Partner Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's overall marketing strategy in alignment with business objectives. Provide visionary leadership to drive the marketing team toward success.
- Experience in the packaging up, pricing and marketing of Managed IT services to a both private and public sector customers.
- Develop and implement product marketing strategies that effectively position the company's portfolio of IT Support and Managed services in the market. Drive product messaging, pricing, differentiation, and sales enablement.
- Lead demand generation efforts to generate qualified leads and support revenue growth. Develop and manage campaigns that span online advertising, marketing automation, and other relevant channels.
- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure marketing effectiveness. Regularly assess and report on marketing's impact on revenue and other relevant business metrics.
- Expertise in the marketing mix, including online advertising, marketing automation, social media, and demand generation tools, to create and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team. Foster a collaborative and innovative culture that drives continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with sales, service delivery, vendor managers and other relevant departments to ensure alignment between marketing strategies and overall business goals.
Requirements
- You should bring at least 5 years of management-level experience in marketing B2B IT Services or IT Managed Service Provider industries.
- Your background should encompass both Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and Inbound Marketing, showcasing your ability to drive comprehensive marketing strategies.
- Based in the North West of England, happy with hybrid working and occasional travel.
