BDR / Business Development Representative (SaaS) - New Business sales

Manchester start-up Tech business with a very innovative virtual reality solution for retailers who wish to offer fantastic customer experience for their shoppers. They have produced a SaaS platform that allows customers to virtually experience the product / experience, within their App or website - enabling enhanced product information and understanding.

Having brought on an impressive list of well known retailers as customers, they are looking to add another Business Development Representative (BDR) to the team.

You will be working from their Manchester offices 3/4 days per week, with a day to home work.

They would like someone in the Greater Manchester area, who have 1+ years experience in B2B sales, ideally in the SaaS or Technology sector. If you have experience working as a desk based sales person in a SaaS business, conducting a 100% outbound role, this is perfect. This will probably have been your 1st ever job in sales.

The role is about new customers, prospecting and booking meetings, so you must be comfortable in new business sales over the telephone and video. You will be supported by a Senior Sales team of 3, with 2 colleagues at a BDR level. There is also a strong Marketing team and some marketing tools that you'll be able to utilise.

The company is growing quickly and had a large investment last year. The investing group has a fantastic track record in growing successful technology businesses. There will be lots of career opportunities for this individual as the business grows, with expected progression to an Account Executive position in around 12-18 months.

To be considered for the role, we are looking for the following:

- New business SaaS or Technology sales person, comfortable with prospecting, cold calls, lead generation, attending events and utilising a CRM system.

- Will have worked as an SDR / BDR / BDE role or similar.

- 1 year + in B2B sales, in a new business role, ideally in for a Technology business

- Greater Manchester based and (ideally) able to drive

- Comfortable with Hybrid working, office (Northern Quarter), 3/4 days x per week

- Degree educated preferred though not essential

- Selling to Retail / e-Tail / FMCG or similar online markets preferred but not essential
