Transaction Recruitment are supporting our market leading client in their search for an experienced Payroll Officer to join the business on a permanent basis, offering a fully remote working week. My client is embracing the flexibility that remote working provides, and is supporting indefinite home based working for experienced payroll professionals accustomed to working in a bureau environment. You will be working as part of a successful payroll function and will be responsible for taking ownership of multiple weekly and monthly client payrolls from start to finish. My client is looking for a proactive candidate with a passion for payroll and the drive to meet tight deadlines working under your own initiative.
Daily duties and experience required includes:
• Minimum of three years experience managing both weekly and monthly payrolls
• Experience working in a fast paced bureau environment
• Manual calculations experience
• Processing starters and leavers
• Calculating holiday and national insurance
• Query resolution
• Calculating SSP, SMP and SPP
• Pensions knowledge
• Up to date payroll legislation knowledge
