We are looking for two security solutions engineers to join a small but growing security team, as part of a large complex business.
You will have a strong IT background and act as the SME for security, to ensure the technology strategies that you develop, deliver and embed, provide fully security solutions for the company's diverse range of systems, applications, and data. You will ensure security is integrated into every phase of the projects and operations, throughout design, testing, deployment, and delivery.
You will have a good knowledge or interest in Cloud Security and / API Security or DevSecOps - The company is predominantly Azure based but is open to AWS, Google or Azure skills. There is a mix of on-prem and cloud environments, as well as Microsoft and Linux technologies on site, with a mix of legacy and newer technologies. The client is willing to consider self study in the Cloud / DevSecOps environment
The business wants to make security an enabler - be able to solve security challenges and find ways to say yes. People skills are a big part of the role.
Identity Management and Access Control are also big growth areas for the business. You will work on security testing - both internal and external, setting policies and frameworks, API Management, and cloud accounts.
You will work closely with the security architecture team and security engineering teams, and will work to ensure "secure by design" is embedded into the solutions created for the business. You will also create policies and procedures as part of the role, working alongside the GRC teams.

The role is remote first - with once a month to be in Yorkshire. The salary on offer is £43,000 - £62,000 + a 21% pension and 41 days holiday.
