Lucy began her career in recruitment at Hays Accountancy Personnel, after completing her degree at Nottingham university and then a year as a trainee accountant at Coopers & Lybrand. At Hays she was responsible for recruiting accounting and finance staff in temporary roles in the Bromley area. She then spent four years at Robert Walters in London, continuing to specialise in recruiting professional finance staff, initially in the temporary market and then the permanent. She had a career break from recruitment in 2001, initially to study and then to raise a family. She joined Julie Rose Recruitment in 2014 and, alongside Julie Rose, has helped build a successful local recruitment company that offers a highly personalised and professional service to both candidates and clients in the Bromley and surrounding areas.
Julie and her team have been amazing and so supportive from start to finish of the recruitment process. They were attentive to what I was looking for and quickly matched me up to a position, and within a few weeks I had a new job! I felt taken care of as Julie and Lucy frequently kept in contact to check in on me, give me updates and ease my interview nerves. I went into this process applying for jobs and have come out with the beginnings of a career for which I am so grateful.
