Something that has always been important to me is building communities within the area I recruit for. I've been fortunate to co-organise many meetups including DJUGL, Django.Social, London Python meetup and Leaders in Tech.
I joined Foxley Talent to take my vision for recruitment within the open source ecosystem to the next level. My aim is to support the Python and Django community with an expert service and share my knowledge of how to hire or find work in this space. To help great people find employment with great companies and to contribute to the community where I can.
In 2022 I co-founded Django.Social, a community to help fill the void of social interaction amongst the Django community with the increase of remote working.
To emphasis the commitment we have to the Python community, Foxley Talent have pledged to donate a % of the companies annual profits back into the ecosystem by donating to projects such as the Django Software Foundation along with sponsoring events and conferences.
My big passions outside of work are my family and sports. I follow Reading FC home and away, through the good and the bad. You can also find me standing in goal on a Sunday morning for Burghfield FC.
