Lead Game Designer (Canada Based)

Lead responsible for the Live Service of games in a major Microsoft title. This means running the day-to-day live service — leading creation of content and live events for the product, as well as planning for the next ones. Closely partnering with several groups and stakeholders and achieving alignment — Community team, esports team, dev team, Marketing/Marcom/PR, biz dev, Ops, Services — while being responsible for delivering KPIs for engagement, retention, and monetization

- Lead Designer responsible for the Xbox One remake and gameplay modernization of a beloved IP. Curating tweaks to gameplay and bringing in selected innovations from later games in the franchise, overseeing any and all level design changes, completely redesigning the online multiplayer experience (including matchmaking and progression), and generally being the product owner of the game that was co-developed with an external studio.

- Sr Gameplay Designer on never released new IP for Xbox One, in the third-person action/adventure genre
- Lead Designer on externally developed free-to-play PC title. Lead the design for a Korean studio

- Oversaw a PSP SKU with a completely different feature set. Driving the vision for the games including developing concepts for the new game modes, as well as writing detailed feature design and tuning parts in all areas of the games. Games were developed externally with a core leads team.
