  • Provided creative direction for NPC populations, level design and layout, loot and reward structures, narrative design, character modeling, and armor and armor-fitting systems. 
  • Designed and implemented classic-era MMORPG combat systems, including core combat formulas and gameplay loops, abilities for 12 player classes, and NPC abilities and loadouts, and associated VFX. 
  • Utilized logic graphs and custom scripts to design and implement NPC boss encounters, and to create behavioral logic to influence distinct NPC awareness and reactions to environmental factors and player actions. 
  • Designed supporting back and front-end systems including ability creation tools, NPC faction assignment tools, spawn rulesets, loot tables, character customization, death and death penalties, climates and atmospheres, and equipment-appearance customization (transmogrification). 

Associate Game Designer / Production Assist -

  • Designed the framework for non-linear quest delivery and player progression supporting a more engaging gameplay sphere. 
  • Developed prototypes for combat system refinements including NPC awareness and ability cadence, player actions-per-minute and downtime, entity state manipulation, and attribute weights.

  • Served as Product Owner in the implementation of vendor-based directory-accuracy solutions, including requirements gathering, process architecture, and workflow to facilitate the monthly automated processing of over 300,000 lines of returned data. 
  • Initiated and oversaw the development of a centralized Confluence wiki for 5 distinct provider teams, increasing interdepartmental communication and improving the accessibility of documentation and historic decision-making. 
  • Served as Domain Lead of Provider Data in Data Governance initiatives, organizing activities around glossary expansion, data profiling, and process flow documentation. 
  • Designed the process flow architecture and reporting requirements for the submission, triage, and lifecycle-tracking of provider configuration work items through ServiceNow, facilitating timely tracking and processing over 1000 tickets per week.
