HR Skills Coach - Level 5
Package: £35-40k plus £4.8k car allowance
Location: Remote - if you can access London 1-2 times a month this is great, but not essential
We're looking for a Skills Coach who can deliver on the new Level 5 HR Apprenticeship standard, with the CIPD diploma bolted on. This will be your main focus, but if you can deliver other programmes such as Coaching or L&M, you can do this also. You will be supported with functional skills specialists, so this will be handled separately. We have worked with this provider for over 4 years now, and have seen them grow over these years with great retention. This year they have developed new programmes in to their portfolio, such as this one, so you will need to be CIPD Level 5 qualified as you will lead on this programme.
So why should you consider this employer?
You’ll be working with a training provider who have both ‘Main Provider’ and ‘Employer provider’ status. A smaller business (circa 30 heads), they formed a few years ago, and it’s in the past few years, despite covid, that they’ve really flourished and grown.
Winning employers contracts, and gain main provider status has really allowed them to excel.
Their own hiring strategy is unique compared to most FE providers also, in the fact that they look to hire from both inside and outside of the education sphere. The wider business boasts a good mix of education and commercial L&D staff, both from an SME and corporate stand point, which brings a wealth of new ideas and different cultures into the business that is in turn parted on to clients and learners to offer best in class service.
They have a good team balance, ultimately people stay and they stay for good reasons – well paid (up to £35/40k for this one plus car allowance) hybrid/Remote working, very social and inclusive team from top to bottom.
So more on the role …
You will be joining an existing team that are spread across the UK delivering level 5 Apprenticeships in Hospitality, Ops, Facilities, and Project management – and now more human capital focused programmes such as HR, L&D, and Coaching. They have delivered Leadership for many years, but the HR programmes are new and they have created these on the back of client demand. This means you will be able to be involved in designing the curriculum and resources here to make them fit for purpose.
Blended learning delivery model, so if you still like a mix of remote working and getting out in to the work place this one will be right up your street.
They are working with a range of businesses, including a handful of well known names in the UK across facilities and leisure/hospitality management.
A big factor of attraction for this role will be the people in the business – the core role is similar to many of the roles we know in the market, but unique parts will be around this bespoke curriculum that is designed and delivered for clients. They use modern learning technology to create an engaging learning environment for their clients, which helps high levels of commitment to learning.
