We are looking is looking for an experienced Editor, with a passion for the fire industry to manage and produce an industry journal. You will work alongside a production editor, printers and digital team to ensure timely publication, mailing and upload of each issue.
This role is integral to ensuring the organisation continues to be the figurehead of all industry-related news and views and technical expertise in the work-related arena. We're looking for someone who is an enthusiastic networker and enjoys speaking to industry professionals, cultivating relationships as well as the attention to detail required for an editorial position.
From a competency perspective, we're looking for someone who has experience in; features or news writing (and transcribing), sub-editing, editing and proofing, multi-media journalist used to working online across platforms and a comprehensive understanding of magazine production.
As an organisation they have a caring culture, with very much a family feel. This includes a sensible and professional approach to working in the office and from home.
