We’re searching for a head of education to join a professional body in an exciting and rapidly growing field of academia. You will be an oracle of knowledge in the data science & analytics world.
You are going to work with key stakeholders in the organisation to create engaging content for the growing membership base of graduates/undergraduates (currently c2000). The creation won’t be solely on you though, as someone who is well connected in the industry, you will work with peers to contribute and create.
You will also represent the organisation on the keynote speaking circuit – you can expect to be invited to speak at industry events, academic institutions and exhibitions.
Given the complexity of the subject matter, you will be used to taking complex papers and making them user friendly for a variety of audiences (from specially trained to layman).
This is a senior role so you are going to need to have a PhD or masters in a subject aligned to data science/analytics as well as demonstrable recognition of achievement in the field (publications/papers delivered).
You are going to be treated like the professional you are – no micro-management, no being treated like a child – just support, encouragement and the tools to do your job in the most effective way.
This is a remote based role, however there will be occasional travel to the head office (High Wycombe) and also north and southern India.
Salary wise you are looking around 50k to 80k, depending on your experience. The organisation is happy to fund CPD and relevant training if required. You will also get 25 days’ worth of annual leave + a closure between Christmas and new year (which are not taken from your allowance).
