Our client, based in the beautiful part of Oxfordshire, are an award-winning software house, who work with the finance industry.
We’re looking for someone to work on the data transfer aggregation using custom built in-house tools. There is further scope to become involved in system implementation and process design, further down the line.
You’re going to need an analytical and logical mind, as you will be working very closely with the directors, clients and dev team – all who have very high expectations and standards. This is also a customer facing role – so you’re going to need to have the confidence and communication skills to be comfortable having high level technical conversations with customers.
One of the key selling points for this opportunity is that they’re still relatively small, so you can have an impactful say in operations and influence change.
Some of the things you can expect to be working on:
Data aggregation; translating data files into a standard format for ingestion into a bespoke database.
Becoming an expert in the custom-made software (will massively help if you understand SQL queries).
New client implementations (this is where the communication skills will really help).
Testing of new product versions.
Location wise they’re commutable from Oxford, Banbury, Bicester and Cheltenham. This will be a full-time office-based position once restrictions are relaxed, but there will be opportunity for remote working further down the line.
Package is dependent on experience, but we have done extensive market research and this company pays in line and often above market average. You will also be eligible for a performance related bonus, private medical care and a childcare voucher scheme.
If you are interested or want to know more, send me a message, DM, call me – whatever is easiest. Having an up-to-date CV to hand is ideal, but if you haven’t got one immediately, we can still chat through the position and you can learn more
Every applicant will receive a response. We sometimes make mistakes and miss things from CVs, so you will be given an opportunity to receive feedback and discuss the role in more detail, if you feel necessary.
