I'm working with a US digital consultancy onsite with a multinational organisation in London delivering on a global infrastructure project seeking a Network Engineer.

You will be responsible for ensuring the stability of the wireless network services.

You will plan, design and develop local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization. In addition, you will participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of the organisations network hardware, software, and communication connections.

You will participate in different projects such as full-cycle design, engineering, configuration and administration of routers & switches, firewalls, multi-segment networks and MPLS WANs.

However the main tasks will be to follow the DPT implementation and workload of migration of existing applications to the organisaitons new platform.

Your tasks cover:

• Install/stage and configure switches
• Prepare the LLD for new projects
• Implement security zones by following data process flow
• Support the implementation of new application
• Configure and troubleshoot firewall
• Physical installation of new switches
• Update documentation and monitoring tool
• Support for the wireless implementation
• Update wireless management and monitoring tool

You will be involved in a Global Team and part of networking protocols and technologies.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in similar roles
• Some experience with Cisco or with Palo Alto (not a necessity)
• You have the knowledge of Quality of Services (QoS), multiprotocol label switching (MPLS), and virtual private network (VPN) architectures.
