What is the Role?

They are seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join their dynamic team. They are looking for those who may be finding their feet in recruitment but feel a change of sector might be required soon. The company specialises in permanent placements, and with a high average fee coupled with a great commission structure, the opportunity will be lucrative for the right person.


You will also benefit from hands-on training from directors who still run their own desks and can advise on practically anything regarding the day-to-day operations of a successful recruitment business.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a robust network of candidates within the Building Technology Sector
  • Identify and understand client needs to provide tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Conduct thorough candidate screenings, interviews, and assessments to match talent with client requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Utilize job boards, social media, and industry contacts to effectively source candidates.
  • Stay updated on market trends and changes within the mechanical and electrical industries to better serve clients.
  • Manage the recruitment process from initial contact to placement, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and clients alike.


Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months experience in recruitment, preferably in an agency environment
  • Commutable distance from Crawley
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and recruitment software.
  • A genuine interest in the building recruitment industry and its job markets.
  • Business development skills; sales experience would be a bonus.
