My client, one of the largest police forces in England and Wales, based in Worcestershire, are looking for Business Analyst for twelve month fixed-term contract to start ASAP.
The Business Analyst will have many years of public sector experience and will work as part of a small group of BAs that will be tasked with influencing and advising the force, suppliers and senior officers on its Change Programmes and Future Operating Model.
As an experienced Business Analyst, you should have demonstrable experience of process mapping and process re-engineering and also possess:
Good experience of translating business requirements into detailed functional design either using UML (Use-Cases, Activity/State Diagrams, Process Mapping, or Work Shops).
Have significant experience in requirements gathering and requirements elicitation and prioritisation with business stakeholders and delivery teams
Be able to facilitate workshops for both business and technical teams.
Experience of conceptualisation and solution definition in line with target operating model.
Experience of designing testing of ICT systems/applications.
Experience of working with user stories and agile processes would be advantageous
The Business Analyst will have top draw consulting skills, with experience of change management concepts and strategies. To be considered for this role, applicants with specific Business Analyst qualifications would be welcomed and will also have an understanding of lean methodologies and principles.
Any Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues and an in-depth knowledge of change management in transformation programmes would be most sort after. You should also be able to:
Translate technical issues and solutions to end users.
Have great stakeholder engagement and change management expertise
Possess excellent research and analysis skills with an innovative approach to problem solving and excellent decision-making capabilities.
Possess good presentation skills with the ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
