Position: Onboarding Coordinator
Location: Manchester
Package: £18,000 - £21,000
Buoyant market. Busy office. Work hard, Play hard. Fantastic induction, and progression plans.
I've watched this business grow exponentially over the 3 years or so, and they have become a powerhouse and a leading employer in their market. They are now stepping in to their next phase of growth, having recent been acquired by a multi billion £ company, their ambition to be a powerhouse in the training world is now very well backed by a key player.
Enter the world of Apprenticeships & IT Training - We will run through far more details with you - Apprenticeships and Further Education is a booming market at the moment. There are £millions being pumped into the sector as a whole currently, and with the Skills Gap being so vast for Technical & Digital talent across the UK, the IT & Technical side of Apprenticeships has been, and will continue to be on a steep growth curve in order to hit the objectives of reducing said skills gap.
We are looking for 2x Onboarding Coordinators to join one of the leading IT & Digital Training providers in the UK, in their Manchester offices - happy to offer Hybrid working here also.
So what does an Onboarding Coordinator do?
Mainly, you are responsible for managing the end to end onboarding process of new apprentices, ensuring that they have received information, advice and guidance from the beginning of their apprenticeship journey. This means, you are going to be a key figure, and one of the first point of contacts a new 'Apprentice' has when embarking on their learning journey. An Apprentice, or 'learner' is an individual starting a new training programme, and they can range from a traditional Apprentice age range of 18-25, or they can be adult learners with seasoned careers - you will be working with both sides.
Some typical responsibilities of the role include:
As you can see, the role includes a number of administrative tasks, so experience in using Microsoft, specifically Excel to a competent level and different databases is required for this role. The Learner Inductions will also require for you to conduct MS Teams video calls with 10-20 people at one time, so good communication and the confidence to do this will also be key for this role.
Other than the above, this employer offers a very thorough induction process for new employees and will fully train you on everything you need to know about Apprenticeships, and what they do as a business.
Both roles are available now with immediate starts available.
