Application Software Engineer - Powershifting Transmissions

We're hiring an Application Software Engineer for Powershifting Transmissions being applied in Hybrid and Electric Powertrains.

In words of the Director handling this:

"Powershifting Transmission" more specifically in this application is a system comprising a Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) with an integrated motor. A “P2.5 hybrid”. Meaning the motor can be connected to either the input of the transmission or the output (by means of gearshift actuation).

Therefore we are really looking for people who know about the application software to control any powershifting gearbox (especially if DCT), and if you also know about the added complexity of hybrid systems, even better but by no means essential or a deal-breaker.

Salary up to £40,000 p/a
