What will you be doing?

Youll be working alongside the Head of Supply Chain and other key internal stakeholders to help deliver business critical supply chain related projects - these could range from new product introductions to cost reduction projects, new system implementations to logistics and inventory projects, and anything in between! This will include devising project plans, including essential time lines and deadlines, and keeping everything running smoothly and on track. Day to day activities (along side project delivery) will include things such as setting up new products with suppliers (agreeing minimum order quantities and lead times), setting up the products in the MRP system (SAP), placing purchase orders and getting involved in cost negotiations/tender exercises.

What do you need to bring to the party?

To be successful in this role its expected that youll be able to demonstrate the majority of the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience working in a Supply Chain role - this could have been as a placement year as part of a Supply Chain related degree or a more established Supply Chain role
  • A solid understanding of Supply Chain processes and principles
  • Previous experience with SAP would be great but isnt essential
  • Brilliant organisational skills - youll need to keep multiple projects running on track
  • Drive and resilience, youll need to keep things moving and adapt to change
  • Strong communication skills - youll be working with people from different departments, different businesses and different countries so this will be really important!
  • Degree educated in a Supply Chain/Procurement related field would be a distinct advantage but applications are welcome from anyone who is eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship and can demonstrate the above skills and experience
