Supply Chain Analyst - Central London - Up to £45k

A dynamic and entrepreneurial commodity trading company are looking for a highly motivated trading analyst.

Your main responsibility will be to analyse supply chain data, identify trends and risks and provide recommendations for action plans to reduce risk and improve efficiency.

Duties:

  • Collecting and analysing supply chain data to find bottlenecks and other issues
  • Identify areas within the trade flow for more efficiency by collaborating with Trading, Trade Finance, Compliance, Treasury and Risk department
  • Collaborate with global operations teams to analyse supply chain data to ensure compliance with controls in place.
  • Identify areas of gaps in the workflow and implement control to ensure compliance with the company policies and procedures
  • Interacting with warehouse database to optimise operational workflow
  • Performing inventory analysis and preparing inventory reports
  • Identifying and analysing supply chain trends
  • Analysing supply chain risks and developing strategies to resolve the issues
  • Assisting the business units in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives
  • Collaborating with clients and supply chain partners to deliver Vendor Management solutions
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of supply chain processes and procedures
  • To take responsibility for your performance and to work together to achieve our organizational goals.

Requirement:

  • Proven computer skills in a Windows environment; Microsoft office, Excel and Word skills required
  • Ability to prioritise tasks consistent with achieving overall supply management organisational goals.
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
