Laytime Coordinator - London / Hybrid - Up to £48k

A leading trading company based in central London are looking for an experienced Laytime Coordinator.

Main responsibilities:

• To calculate the value of laytime claims and check and submit to the counterparties.
• Close communication with in-house operations and commercial teams.
• Close communication with business partners such as brokers, agents, shippers, sellers, and receivers
• To monitor and analyse all laytime claims, keeping records updated and communicating updates as necessary.
• To conduct Laytime calculations and settlement of claims - Preparation and finalisation of statements of accounts, invoicing and follow up with external clients.
• To keep internal systems up to date with laytime messages, monitoring payments and reports.

Essential:

• Experience in international import/export trade and shipping logistics with a min of 5 years of exposure to Laytime (Dry Bulk).
• Experience in Sugar 99 / Norgrain / Continental Grain / Gencon or any other bulk agricultural products Charter Parties, SAOL / ICE Sugar No. 11 rules and regulations / Thai Sugar Terms / GAFTA terms or other related agricultural products and Incoterms would be beneficial.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic with strong analytical skills
