Commercial Financial Planning Analyst - Hybrid / London - Up to £75k

A world leading biological technologies company have a fantastic commercial finance opportunity working closely with the CEO and CFO in managing their 20-year budget.

This is a standalone role managing the commercial finance for this leader in their field who have a real passion for improving lives and livelihoods around the world.

Duties:

• Provide full support to the CFO to ensure the timely and accurate completion of the annual corporate budgeting process and associated analysis and development of presentations and executive reporting
• Create a forecasting process to enable frequent updates for executives and a rolling forecast
• Assist in the selection, implementation, and deployment of a robust and scalable FP&A solution
• Ensure monthly update of all relevant data is uploaded to allow for accurate actuals v forecast reporting
• Produce monthly business performance data reports to assist management in the tactical management of the business
• Produce and publish standard monthly finance review pack (actuals & forecast), for presentation to SLT
• Provide financial support for growth initiatives including product development, research partnerships/collaborations, commercialisation, and capital expenditure projects
• Create comprehensive business models to support business growth

Experience:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Experience in life science / pharmaceutical development sectors preferred including fast- growth companies
• Solid experience of FP&A / Business Partnering and CFO / COO support
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong financial modelling skills
• Strong business partnering skills
• Advanced Excel skills and competent in PowerPoint
