Finance Director- Richmond / Hybrid - Up to £120k

An amazing opportunity for an experienced finance director or financial controller looking to step into an FD role.

You will be joining a PE-backed SaaS technology business and will be a key component in helping to drive further growth organically and propel the business to its next level.

They provide data analytics services to the retail industry with global offices and a plan to grow substantially over the coming years.

This role would suit someone who has experience working within a PE-backed environment, used to liaising with investors, bankers, and advisors and is strong operationally.

Role:

• Hands on day-to-day management of a recently formed Finance and Administration team of seven
• Take responsibility for ensuring that the financial processes, systems, and controls are operating effectively.
• Take a strategic approach to adding value. You will help define, and clearly understand, the business strategy and clearly translate this insight for others.
• You use all credible internal and external risk-adjusted financial data and insight to ensure teams make better informed financial decisions.
• You will help optimise, protect and preserve all business resources and assets, required to serve clients, whilst achieving strategic goals
• You will provide key financial planning and analysis support to the business, including KPI reporting, budgetary planning, analysis and forecasting, to improve the financial performance and results.
• You will provide thought-leadership and guidance on compliance, due diligence and commercial contracts, staying networked and connected, external to the organisation.

Experience required:

• Degree qualified and a chartered accountant (ACA, ACCA,) with experience in a finance business partnering role.
• Held an autonomous financial controller or Finance Director position (within a Private Equity owned business would be advantageous) within the software or technology sector
• Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels up to Board of Directors and Investors
