Accounts Assistant - SW4 - Up to £35k

A great opportunity exists for an experienced Accounts Assistant to lead the day-to-day accounts activities for a great company near Clapham.

• Maintain accounts receivables: manage key accounts such as Tesco, John Lewis, Waitrose and Amazon.
• Perform sales invoice management via EDI and customer portals.
• Handle debit notes received, managing approvals and credit note processing.
• Liaising with customer service team, account managers and agents/sales reps regarding any potential issues and debit notes management.
• Perform bank and cash reconciliations.
• Record and reconcile company credit cards and petty cash.
• Process payments and financial documents.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of VAT and other tax returns.
• Posting and processing staff expenses.
• To assist with month end journals, accruals, and prepayments,
• Assist Finance Manager with the preparation of annual budgets and income-expenditure patterns.

Experience required:

• Knowledge of VAT and international exports ideally within FMCG or retail environment.
• Experience in a similar accounting role
• Experience working Independently.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Enthusiastic, passionate, and highly organised.
